Melones Beach

I am enjoying the tables on Melones beach.

Watching waves that are two inches high.

Relaxed in the breeze in the shade of the trees

And sighing as the birds pass me by.

Here is another shot on the way home.
Taken from the tables across from El Bate
(Yes, worlds best hamburger was in my other hand!)

                                 Flamenco!

Sometimes I get wrapped up in getting things done.
Loads of dishes,  loads of laundry,  loads of work to be done.   But then there are times when  I remember where  I  live, and I just get up an hour earlier than usual and take a walk.

 And then a swim!

Suddenly my day gets easy!    I remember why I am here...
To LIVE!!!

There's a time of the day,

When the sun hits the waves.

And the world seems to shimmer with light.

Every leaf shines as the breeze intertwines

In this dance between morning and night.
Midday is the time when I hide in the shade.

Protecting my skin from the heat

 As the sun plays

With the leaves and the waves.

The shadows are a welcome retreat.

Morning on Culebra

Sometimes the morning light is so beautiful that it beggs me to take photos out of a moving car...

And drags me to the beach!

Culebra's New Gas Station is OPEN!

No more giant lines and boaters have access again!

On the right is the new owner Enid Amaro and her cousin Yvette Rodriguez Sanchez

                                                    Good news travels fast,
Even the iguanas had to check it out!

I know you would think there should be a line here but the power was out so Culebra was still waiting.

So I want all my friends from Fajardo who haven't been able to visit using gas as a their reason, to drop it and pull anchor.  No more excuses!

Don't give up on Lili's.  She even lowered her prices.
